  1. Hi Gary, Welcome to RC Tank World. Nice to see VicArmour here. Looking forward to some photos of your club meets.
  2. Welcome Kevin. Nice to have you onboard. I am looking forward to seeing some photos of your tanks.
  3. IMO - the Heng Long 6.0 board is comparable to the Taigen system these days and a little cheaper by my research - so my money would probs be on 6.0 There are better systems on the market than either of them, but then you start to pay a lot more as well (ie ElMod, IBU, Clark etc.).
  4. Hi Steve, welcome to the community. Looking forward to seeing some of your work. I have enjoyed a couple of Tammy King Tigers myself over the years - regret moving them on sometimes. Tamiya is certainly a favourite.
  5. Hi mate - welcome to the community. We are only small at this stage but growing. The Taigen metal Tiger I is a nice tank. I had one myself for a while. Feel free to post some pics in the Members Gallery
  6. Hi Wayne, Here is a product that i am sure will do that: You will need a 2.4ghz radio though - you won't be able to use your HL radio http://rctanksaustralia.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=30 Just drop them a line first to make sure they have the stock and it will do what you want.
  7. Android for me. I have used and like iOS and use a Mac regularly - but i prefer Android on my phones.
  8. Yeah it does look good. Someones got some footage on YT of the tank at Nuremberg. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ca6JMva1bIc&feature=youtu.be

  10. Hi everyone. At RC Tank World, we take user account security very seriously. Even though - due to the nature of this particular forum, there is no sensitive data that we ask for or store. I wanted to talk about 2 of the security features of RC Tank World that you may not be aware of, that will ensure your account is never compromised. 2 Factor Authentication Recently Logged-In Devices 2 Factor Authentication If you are not familiar with 2 factor authentication, it is basically another security step that ensures if someone ever gets your password then you have another way to protect your account. You can access this feature from the 'Account Settings' option in the user dropdown menu top right of the page. Then click on 'Account Security', and follow the instructions on screen. You will need to download the free Google Authenticator app from your app store to use this feature. Once it is set up, you will be sent a one time authentication code to your device and you will need to enter that code to access the forum. Recently Logged-In Devices This is a great tool for seeing a history of what devices have accessed your account. To access this feature go to 'Account Settings from the user dropdown box in the top right of the page. Select 'Recently Used Devices' from the side menu and presto - a complete list of all the devices that have been used to access your account. From here you can sign out of any device and even disable the Auto Login feature. If you have any questions about these features, please do not hesitate to contact the staff for help. Thanks for reading and happy tanking! RC Tank World Team
  11. So here's some news that has been doing the rounds on FB. This pic is from the TamiyaBlog site and shows the latest 1/16 RC Tank Full Option kit release from Tamiya - the M551 Sheridan - kit number 56043 As usual there will be a ton more pics after the 2019 Nuremberg Toy Fair in early FEB. 12. Morning everyone. Just wanted to post a quick update to let you all know that the Club section is now online. The Clubs area is very similar to Facebook Groups and offers clubs around the world a place that they can call there own. Threads and posts created in your group are not seen in the main forum and the club has control over the privacy and who can join. Head on over now to check it out. http://www.rctankworld.com/main/index.php?/clubs/
  13. Before starting your new build thread in here - consider posting it in Blog section instead. Blogs are a great alternative to give the author greater control over their build. All comments posted in a Blog appear at the end of a blog entry. This keeps your build organised and makes it easier for visitors and members to follow your build. The diagram below explains this a little better.
  14. This is another answer. The answer with the most votes will always have a tick inside a green circle next to the answer.
