  1. Hi guys, Well this little project has been on my ‘to-do’ list for a while now and i have finally found the motivation to get stuck into it This Gepard previously belonged to an old customer of mine that sadly passed away at the end of last year. I hope to restore it to its former glory and give it the full RC treatment (not just forward reverse - with no sound). Here is the Geppy before i got stuck into it. i also have a second Geppy that i may use for parts if needed (hopefully not) ….and the original internals including older gearbox.
  2. Firstly, i decided to build a new lower hull from my parts collection. Nothing really exciting here, just your standard Tamiya lower hull build from the reissue static Leopard/Gepard kits. In that last pic you can see the gearbox adapter plate. The old gearbox will not be going into this new hull. I have used a Tamiya King Tiger gearbox with the adapter plate. I will be re-using the road wheels from the original lower hull. The rubber has degraded severely though so fresh rubber all round.
